Employment Consultant Dick Bradow, PGA

Dick Bradow, PGA, serves as the PGA Employment Consultant for the Carolinas Section, a role in which he has served since 1999. Dick provides complimentary career and employment services to Carolinas PGA Professionals and is a resource for utilizing PGA CareerLinks, PGA Jobfinder, and other PGA employment services programs and tools. In addition, Dick works with employers in promoting the benefits of hiring PGA Professionals and assists employers in utilizing PGA employment programs to facilitate their hiring process.
A graduate of Michigan State University, Dick has been a PGA of America member since 1976. Prior to his current position as a PGA Employment Consultant, Dick served as the Head Professional at Hillview Country Club in Franklin, Indiana (1977-1985) and at Audubon Country Club in Louisville, Kentucky (1986-1999). He served three terms on the Kentucky PGA Board of Directors, including serving as Chairman of the Employment, Education, Tournament, and Long Range Planning Committees. He also served on the Indiana PGA Board of Directors and is a PGA Certified Playing Ability Test Examiner.
Dick has been the recipient of numerous PGA awards including Kentucky PGA Golf Professional of the Year (2 times), Kentucky PGA Bill Strausbaugh Award (3 times), Kentucky PGA Merchandiser of the Year (3 times), and Kentucky PGA Horton Smith Award. An accomplished player, Dick was a member of the Michigan State University golf team and was the team’s MVP in 1972. He was the Indiana PGA Match Play Champion in 1981, two-time Indiana Open runner-up, and has qualified for eleven PGA Professional National Championships.
